Cricket Australia announced its team for the England and Scotland tour. Australia’s UK tour will begin with a three-match T20I series against Scotland.

After this, the Australian team will play a three-match T20I series and a five-match ODI series against England. For this tour, many young players including Western Australia all-rounder Cooper Connolly have been called up by Australia for the first time. Cricket Australia announced its team for the tour of England and Scotland. Mitchell Marsh has been given the command of the team for the Australian team’s ODI series against Scotland. At the same time, Marsh has also been given the responsibility of captaining Australia for the 3-match T20I series and the five-match ODI series against England. Mitchell Marsh has a lot of workload in the absence of Pat Cummins.

Pat Cummins has been given rest so that he remains fresh for the five-match Border Gavaskar series to be played between India and Australia. The ODI World Cup-winning captain made an important contribution to the Australian T20 World Cup journey.

Apart from this, Jack Fraser was also given a place in the squad for the first time by Australia for this tour. This star of Delhi Capitals had performed brilliantly in IPL 2024 and after this he was included by the Kangaroo team as a reserve player in the T20 World Cup.

At the same time, Cooper Connolly played brilliantly for the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League last season and made an important contribution to the team’s victory.
